Peter graduated from the University of Tasmania in 1973, was admitted to the Institute of Charted Accountants in Australia in 1975 and joined the partnership Wise Lord & Ferguson in 1981. He has acted as a tutor in Taxation Law at the University of Tasmania and has been a teacher in Accounting at the Hobart Technical College.

Peter advises in all aspects of business, including structures, taxation matters and valuations and oversees the provision of accounting and ongoing taxation services to many small business clients. He has a strong interest in business succession planning and in helping his clients provide for retirement, including the use of self-managed superannuation funds and other tax-effective investments.
