As a Chartered Accountant for over 20 years, Tracy has strong financial, accounting and analytical skills. Tracy gained significant and diverse industry experience over 6 years with Arthur Andersen, Chartered Accountants in Melbourne, specialising in business services and audit, including due diligence and investigative accounting.

Prior to returning to Tasmania, Tracy was Financial Controller of TT-FM radio station in Melbourne. Tracy has gained further practical financial and general management experience over 9 years as Financial Controller and Company Secretary and then General Manager of Hobart commercial radio station 101.7 HO-FM.

Tracy is currently a Director of Metro Tasmania and Chair of the Metro Audit Committee; and a Trustee Director of Tasplan Ltd, a Tasmanian Industry Superannuation Fund. Tracy was also a Director (2000 -2006) and Chairman (2006 - 2008) of the Printing Authority of Tasmania until its sale in 2008.

Tracy has been a Consultant with Wise Lord & Ferguson for since 2005 and was also Company Secretary of Robt. Nettlefold Pty Ltd, a private investment company, until its voluntary liquidation in June 2009.

Tracy has a particular interest in the development of the community sector and is a voluntary Director of Colony 47 Inc. and was Chairman from 2004 - 2010. Tracy is also a voluntary Director of the Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania and Chair of the Finance Committee.
